FAQs
-
Are your products good for eczema/rosacea?
Yes! Our products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind. Having sensitive skin ourselves, we test and use all our own products. We have noticed a huge difference in our skin health since we started using goat milk and our other natural skin care products.
-
Where do you get your goat milk for your soaps and lotions?
We have a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. We milk them by hand, and they provide us with rich and creamy milk for our products! Nigerian Dwarfs have the highest butterfat content of any goat milk, which gives us even a richer and more luxurious feel in our soaps and lotions.
-
Can I use your soap and lotion on my face?
Our products are very gentle and can be used on your face. We recommend doing a patch test first to make sure your skin responds well to whatever new products you are introducing to your face.
-
Do you have anything for acne?
We always recommend simple skin care products for acne and other conditions. We specially formulated a turmeric & tea tree facial bar for acne, as well as an acne-prone tallow cream, which includes essential oils that help combat acne.
-
Is making soap dangerous?
Working with lye or any other caustic chemical always poses some danger, but we take the proper safety precautions, such as wearing protective gear when actively making soap.

Why is goat milk soap such a big deal?
Goat milk is packed with skin healthy vitamins. It has a PH balance similar to our skin, so it helps gently cleanse the skin without causing irritation, as well as helps to lock in moisture. It is perfect for people with sensitive skin, such as ourselves! We did a test a while back and made soap with goat milk and some without, and the difference was incredible! We’ll never use any other type of soap now!
